Hello! Welcome to Sunday Supper! After many, many years of playing in the kitchen, coming up with recipes, instagramming my dinners, and sharing my recipes with family and friends, I have finally decided to give blogging a shot!
A little about me: I am a bit of a nomad. I grew up in Orange County, CA. I moved to Boston, MA after high school where I received my B.S in Psychology at Northeastern University, then my MSW at Wheelock College. I then moved to Bryan, Texas with my boyfriend (who became my fiancé during our cross country move, and subsequently became my hubby). I work as a social worker in the medical field specializing in oncology and palliative work. Now we have a house, a dog, the same last name, and very weird accents (CA/Boston/Southern Draw; it’s real, people).
During college, I realized that I love cooking. Like, a lot. I have no formal training, unless you count reading Martha Stewarts cook books and watching Chopped. But I quickly found that I have a bit of talent in the kitchen. I love cooking for family and friends, and I am always on a budget! I work full time, so my recipes are usually quick and relatively easy. Food always brings people together, and I find the kitchen to be my happy place. I hope you can come to this site, find some yummy recipes to try, and bring your people together to share it with!
